Support the development of a competitive and sustainable economy
Based in Paris and Brussels, the Association aims to contribute to an environment that is conductive to the development of the economic activity and to bring the vision of large French companies to the French public authorities, European institutions and international organisations.
L’Afep participates in the development of cross-sectoral legislation, at French and European level, in the following areas: economy, taxation, corporate law and corporate governance, corporate financing and financial markets, competition, intellectual property and consumption, labor law and social protection, environment and energy, corporate social responsibility and international trade.
It draws on the experience and vision of the leaders from member companies. Informed by factual analyses of companies’ situations and international comparisons, L’Afep’s working groups, contribute to the formulation of proposals and the structuring of dialogue with public authorities.
L’Afep also brings together the commitments of large companies through various initiatives in favor of SMEs, territories, ecological transition and youth.
L‘Afep is a founding member of EuropeanIssuers, an association representing the interests of European listed companies towards the European institutions.
