High school students and large companies for top meetings about career paths

L’Afep launched the first edition of the Top Jeunes, an event organized in partnership with the National Education system to allow high school students to discover the diversity of professions offered by large companies and help them prepare for their career path. This initiative was repeated in 2025 with the participation of 45 large companies from L’Afep , meeting at the Economic, Social and Environmental Council to exchange with 300 high school students in their second year, from different establishments in Île-de-France.
In the first half of the morning, high school students have the opportunity to interact directly with several leaders of major corporate groups who come to answer their questions, discuss their own career paths, and offer them very concrete advice. The students then visit the various company booths, where they learn about numerous careers, as well as the skills to be acquired and the associated career paths.

The aim of Top Jeunes
- To enable high school students in their second year to discover a wide range of professions and the skills required for these professions.
- To help them think about their future career path and choose their high school internship.
- To give them the opportunity to talk directly with executives from France’s largest companies.
- To bring schools and businesses closer together.
